Overview – What Actually Changed?

Well, here it is. The long awaited ACLS 2025 update has finally arrived. I've spent a few days going over the updates and truthfully I'm a little underwhelmed. We didn't get the big, sweeping changes many of us were secretly hoping for. There's still no strong endorsement for head-up CPR, no embrace of impedance threshold devices, and no dramatic shift in how we run a code.

This isn't terribly surprising as we all know the AHA moves at a glacial pace before actually changing its' recommendations.

Anyways, I'd say that 2025 is definitely an incremental update to what we've been practicing. I've compiled some of those changes and will upload them here as I can.
